Amity Anderson has been practising exclusively in family law since 2008. Prior to relocating back to her home in Ipswich in 2017, Amity worked at a top-tier firm in Brisbane which gifted her with exposure to complex parenting matters, high net worth property settlement matters and extensive family violence matters.
As an Accredited Family Law Specialist and a born and bred Ipswich local, Amity considers it an absolute privilege to be able to provide expert, specialist family law advice to members of her community. Amity offers a compassionate and practical approach to the resolution of family law matters ensuring her clients feel supported and comforted at each stage of their matter.
Amity was recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a Family Law Rising Star (Queensland) in 2018 and was a nominee for the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce Young Business Person of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
Amity holds Accreditation as a Family Law Specialist from the Queensland Law Society, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and Journalism) from the University of Queensland.
